How to Build a Personal Astrology Journal
Track astrology as a reflective practice, not a pass/fail test. Your chart is a living document, and journaling helps you understand how it breathes.
Daily Journal Template
Date & Transit: (e.g., Moon in Taurus) Mood (1-10): Physical Sensation: (e.g., tired, wired, hungry) Event of the Day: Connection to Transit: (Did the Taurus moon make me want comfort food?)
Weekly Review Prompts
- Which themes repeated this week? (e.g., delays, miscommunication, sudden bursts of energy)
- What decisions improved your week?
- Where did you ignore obvious signals?
Planetary Focus Questions
Use these when specific planets are active or retrograding:
- Mercury (Mind): What am I rethinking? What detail did I miss?
- Venus (Values): What (or who) makes me feel valuable right now? What is beautiful to me today?
- Mars (Action): Where am I pushing too hard? Where do I need more courage?
- Saturn (Structure): What boundary do I need to set? What responsibility am I avoiding?
Monthly Reflection
